Tim was born and raised in Boundary County and is a graduate of Bonners Ferry High School in 1977.  He joined the Air Force and returned to the family farm in 1981 where he continues to live with his wife Julie.  Tim joined the Washington Air National Guard in 1982 and retired as E-7 in 2000.

Mr. Dillin has represented Idaho farmers at the State and National level in the National Association of Wheat Growers, National Barley Growers Association, Idaho Grain Producers and Idaho Barley Commission.  Currently he farms 1600 acres of wheat, Barley, Canola and raise Red Angus cattle.
