Sandy Daniel was born in Petaluma, California. She moved to Bonner’s Ferry in 1970. She was a Junior in high school, this is when she met Tom. She spent a year over seas and came home. She has been married to Tom since December 1971. They bought the farm from his parents in 1980. They have 3 grown children and 2 granddaughters grown as well. She worked for the school district for 18 years. She has volunteered for March of Dimes, Girl Scouts, as well at the school after she quit working for the district. She belongs to Kootenai Rifle & Pistol Club and LOVES shooting pistol. She is President of Boundary County Farm Bureau Federation. She was also the first woman to hold that seat. She helps with the Women’s Ag. In the Classroom a Farm Bureau item they do for the schools or home schoolers, business or anyone who is interested. She has been married to Tom for 44 years. They live in his boyhood home.
